If you are interested in preserving the history of these great aircraft
and the sacrifices made by those who flew them in a time of war,
become a part of this enthusiastic and fun organization!
You need not be a pilot or veteran to join the CAF.
CAF
Objectives:
1. To preserve, in flying condition, a complete collection of combat aircraft
which were flown by all military services of the United States in World War II.
2. To provide museum buildings for permanent protection and display of these aircraft as a tribute
to the thousands of men and women who built, serviced, and flew them.
3. To perpetuate in the memory and hearts of all Americans the spirit in which these
great planes were flown for the defense of our nation.
4. To establish an organization having the dedication, enthusiasm and esprit de corps
necessary
to operate, maintain and preserve these aircraft as symbols of our American military aviation heritage.
Colonel Membership is open to all men and women, age 18 or older.
Wing, Squadron, or Detachment memberships are entirely optional once you become a CAF Colonel or Cadet, but greatly enhance your experiences with the CAF. Becoming a Unit member puts you where the action is - close to the aircraft or their operations. Many Colonels choose to join more than one CAF Unit.
To be a member , you must first be a CAF Colonel, Life Member or Cadet. In order to belong to the River Bend Squadron, you must first be a CAF Colonel and then a member of the West Texas Wing.
Follow the easy steps 1, 2 and 3 below to join the River Bend Squadron.
1. Download or fill out the online Headquarters membership form being sure to send your check, or indicate your method of payment, if you print the form!
2. Download and print the West Texas Wing's membership form, fill it out and send the check!
3. Download and print the River Bend Squadron's membership form, fill it out and send your check!

Colonel's Ladies
The West Texas Wing and River Bend Squadron also offer membership to all Ladies 18 years and older in the Colonel's Ladies. You must be a dues paid member (Colonel) of the West Texas Wing or sponsored by a dues paid Wing Colonel to belong to the Colonel's Ladies. The Colonel's Ladies is a support group formed under the West Texas Wing. You must first be a Wing Lady to join the Squadron Ladies. Dues are $10 yearly for Wing Ladies and $5 yearly for Squadron Ladies.

Cadet Membership Information
The CAF also offers a Cadet membership for students ages 13 to 23 for $45 per year. The Cadet age limit goes beyond 18 years to allow college students to participate. A student I.D. is requested for Cadets over the age of 18. For more information on Cadet membership and application click on the Cadet links.
CAF Cadets have the opportunity, with proper
paperwork completed, to join an aircraft support team and may enjoy the
privilege of flying on CAF aircraft as opportunities are available.
